    For girls entering grades 6-9

The "Building Bridges and Gateways to Girl's Future" Summer Camp will take place at The Center for Arts-Inspired Learning’s Inspiration Center in Cleveland’s University Circle neighborhood. At this week-long camp, girls entering grades 6-9 will engage in a variety of STEAM activities connecting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through the Arts. Girls will be working both individually and in small groups to create interactive portraits, digital comic books, and a variety of digital video media. Girls will be immersed in the arts as they explore who they are, where they’re from, and who they can be. Women make up 50% of the US college-educated workforce, but only 29% of the science and engineering workforce1. Building Bridges and Gateways to Girl’s Future at CAL is designed to engage girls in the connections that are made across the arts and sciences and how they can see themselves being a part of these fields in the future.
