    American Baptist Women’s Ministries is partnering with American Baptist Churches of New Jersey to bring Hi-eSTEAM to middle and high school girls in NJ, NY, PA. Girls will engage in Christian learning, socio-emotional development and gain exposure to STEAM skills and careers.

    Keynote Speaker: Dr. Aliya Browne 

    Dr. Browne is a board-certified clinical cardiologist, licensed minister in the Baptist Church and an Oasis Ministries certified Spiritual Director. She incorporates spiritual practices into her prescription for holistic health. She is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, where her focus was on practical theology and spiritual direction. 




    Coding and Robotics Workshop Leader

    Christiane Agkpo is the Executive Director of the Montclair Learning Center (MLC) sparking STEM interest in children. MLC offers STEM summer camp, after school classes and events. Agkpo's passion is to close the education and technology gap for more girls and minority students. Agkpo worked in the telecom and banking industry in the US, Europe and Africa. Agkpo is Mom of 4 and holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique Montreal and an MBA from Columbia University.



     

    Art Workshop Leader 

    Ebony Flag created EHF Creations with the goal of engaging the world, honoring the Divine and others through fine art. Over the past decade, Ebony has worked tirelessly as an educator, youth counselor and an overall community builder. Using exuberance along with her artistic lens, Ebony helps her students discover new ways to share their voice through art. Ebony was recently named the 2020 Anne Reeves Artist-in-Residence for The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP), Princeton, NJ. She will be working with students from the Arts Council's ArtsExchange program (a partnership with HomeFront) on an interior mural project, The Future Me. Ebony earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the renowned Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, PA.
