    Leadership: Enjoying the Journey is a discussion that will allow leaders who have experienced the ebbs and flows of leading God’s people to pause and consider what it means to continue to lead in times of constant change. We will explore some of the items we need to unpack and pack for our individual journey and begin to identify and or create an intentional plan that will enhance our psychosocial spiritual wellbeing.


    Speaker: Rev. Dr. Patricia Murphy, D. Min, M.Div., BCC, GRMS, CTS
    The Rev. Dr. Patricia Murphy is the Ecclesiastical Endorser for American Baptist Churches, USA giving leadership to the American Baptist National Network of Chaplains, Pastoral Counselors & Specialized Ministers and the National Coordinator of Chaplains, Pastoral Counselors & Specialized Ministers at American Baptist Home Mission Societies.  Dr. Murphy is a Board-Certified Chaplain (APC) with experiences as a Palliative Care & Protestant Chaplain, Bio Medical Ethicist, Labor Relations.  She is the Chair for (AREB) the Association of Religious Endorsing Bodies, Member at Large (NCMAF) National Conference Military & Armed Forces and Chair (ECVAC), Executive Committee for Veterans Affairs Chaplains.  She is also recently served as an Adjunct Professor of Chaplaincy at Lancaster Theological Seminary.  Dr. Murphy has also served as a national conference facilitator on racial trauma, bio-medical ethics, palliative care, leadership practices, ministry and vocation beyond the pulpit and has discussed topics with respect to pastoral counseling, chaplaincy, and spiritual direction.
