Nola Crooks, 2018-21 Coordinator of Events

Nola Crooks of Freemont, Nebraska, has found that volunteering is a part of her nature. Her most rewarding adventures in volunteering have included anything that allows her to be creative and interact with others. With a story that mirrors those of many American Baptist women, Nola received leadership training, confidence in her abilities, and opportunities to serve God through the ministries of American Baptist Women. She has coordinated multiple events for women and girls, served as the Conference Chair of the Central Region, and as Coordinator of the Midwestern Section for our organization (2013-16). With a degree in Elementary Education from Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas, Nola has taught the upper elementary grades. She enjoys technology and learning new ways to use and work with technology in addition to helping others find an “easier” way to complete a task using technology. Nola is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Fremont, Nebraska, where her husband is pastor.
